Guidance to entrance

  1. Applicants must have over 12 years of education (equivalent to completion of senior high school in Japan).

  2. Applicants must have concrete purpose for studying in Japan and have the strong will to acquire the knowledge and Technical skills required for the specialized field chosen.
  3. Applicants must have studied the Japanese language at a Japanese language school recognized by the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education for over 6 months, or must be students registered at an academic institution such as a university and hold excellent results and satisfactory attendance.

  4. Applicants must have achieved over Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or have achieved over 200 points in the subject of Japanese language for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), or have a level of Japanese proficiency equivalent to either.

  5. Applicants must be able to obtain or extend their entry visa (for education at a Japanese language school) from mid-March to after the end of March, 2011.
  6. Applicants must be both physically and mentally healthy, without any diseases or illnesses including any infectious diseases stated by law.

  1. Entrance application (use the format set by the school, with photograph attached)

  2. Application material for consideration of entrance – Essay.
  3. Letter of recommendation (For accredited applicants, use specified format.)
  4. Letter of self recommendation (For accredited applicants, use specified format.)

  5. Graduation diploma of final education in home country (graduation certificate accepted)

    *Provide English document and its Japanese translation. No restrictions on the format but must be signed.
  6. Passport and Alien Registration card (You may bring them with you when you apply in person. If you are applying by mail, attach a copy showing all registered fields.)
  7. Submit the following documents (original document is required but will be returned to you later):
    • Certificate of academic results issued by your Japanese language school (also showing your attendance) *keep document officially sealed.

    • Certificate of Level 2 or above of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
    • Result notification of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU).
  8. Letter of guarantee (emergency contact in Japan) – as specified by the school.

  10. Entrance examination fee: 20,000 yen (for applicants of general entrance only. Please use the designated examination fee transfer form included in the application guidebook. The fee should be paid via bank transfer. Be sure to submit the transfer payment receipt.)
          The address of the applicant at the time of application must be correctly entered, providing the name of the apartment/condominium/other forms of dwelling as well as room number.

留学生特別奨学金制度

To alleviate the economical burdens of studying in Japan, we have set up a special scholarship system for foreign students.


Eligibility

Eligible students must be willing to study at this school from April 2009, and have ‘College Student’ visa.


Selection basis

Successful applicants need to achieve over 85 points in the entrance examination (Japanese written test) and will be determined through interview.
